Tom & Co is a Belgian chain of pet stores that currently has more than 150 stores in Belgium and France. They offer both pet products such as food, accessories, toys and services such as grooming or boarding. The company is known for its responsible sales policy and its commitment to animal welfare while taking an environmentally friendly approach to its products and equipment.

2008, the beginning of a beautiful partnership

In 2008, Bioclimas pushes the door of a store of the sign and two observations are immediately made:

• The building is poorly insulated, which causes extreme heat in the store.
• The olfactory experience is not very pleasant. A mixture of dog food and rabbit cage smell reigns in the whole 400m2 that make up the store.
  

Following these findings, the conclusion was simple: installing a Bioclimas system would be a real added value for the store.

Why is this so? Surprising as it may seem, and unlike cooling , poor building insulation is not a problem for Bioclimas, for one simple reason. The cooling adiabatic system injects large quantities of air, which must then be evacuated via an extractor fan or by leaving the windows open. Based on this principle, a poorly insulated or poorly insulated building that allows air to pass through is not a problem, since it offers a way out.

Thanks to the adiabatic system, the air is permanently cooled and replaced several times an hour by fresher, healthier and odor-free air.

But beyond its efficiency, Seeley International's technology offers a cooling solution that is nearly three times less expensive than the competition and consumes up to 90% less electricity. A real financial saving that weighs heavily in the balance for all these independent store owners.

In 2008, 3 stores were equipped with our products: Hyon, Jette and Alsemberg. 15 years later, 30 stores all over Belgium will benefit from this installation.
