  • There are many of them:

    • The adiabatic cooling consumes up to 90% less electricity,

    • The environmental impact of cooling is virtually nil,

    • Breezair and Climate Wizard units have a lifespan of over 20 years, thanks to the robustness of their components,

    • The cooling adiabatic system constantly renews the air, expelling germs and odours to the outside.

  • This question applies only to the direct adiabatic cooling since the indirect process does not add moisture to the air.

    We place a humidity sensor in the building. When the humidity threshold is reached, the unit switches to ventilation until the humidity level drops. It then switches back to cooling mode to continue cooling the room. This rarely happens if the building is sufficiently ventilated. As we work with constant air renewal, the air entering the building must be able to leave.

  • Yes, as long as it is possible to supply fresh air to the rooms to be cooled from the roof or façade unit.

  • This question only applies to the cooling direct adiabatic process, as in the indirect process, the air forced into the building is not in contact with the water.

    There is no risk of legionella, for several reasons:

    • The machines manufactured by Seeley International, our manufacturer, operate by trickling, not misting, so no droplets are produced,

    • Thanks to evaporation, the water temperature is constantly below 25°C, below the incubation threshold for bacteria. Any remaining water is drained off when the machine is switched off.

    • The thickness of the media reduces the air velocity below the threshold required to transport elements.

  • By relying on Bioclimas, you'll consume up to 90% less electricity than with your old cooling system.

  • No, the cooling adiabatic system only produces cold. To guarantee comfort in both winter and summer, we can combine our system with underfloor heating or a heat pump, which will take care of heating only. In this way, the size of the heat pump will be significantly reduced, as cooling requires much more power than heating in this type of system.
    By combining these two systems, you'll enjoy comfort in both winter and summer, at lower cost and with limited investment.

  • Thanks to the quality and robustness of all the parts that make up our machines, we have installations that are more than 20 years old in Belgium.

  • On average, an installation consumes 10 to 30 liters of water per hour, depending on its size.
    This over-consumption of water needs to be considered from a societal point of view. Water is needed to produce electricity. Our installations reduce electricity consumption to such an extent to guarantee your comfort in summer that it is highly likely that, on a societal level, we will reduce the volume of water consumed.

  • The cooling adiabatic system offers a summer blowing temperature of between 18 and 22°C, but no fixed temperature. If you need it, such as for a storage shed, we can couple our systems to a traditional chiller. This chiller will ensure that the set temperature is maintained, and all pre-cooling will be provided by the adiabatic system, which will greatly reduce the amount of work involved, and therefore your electricity bills.
